Scanning Photographs

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER.

It is important that care is taken when scanning your photographs - here you can see the effects. Also most mobile phones have small file size and are not suitable for reproducing of larger items.

For example the minimum for a 6" x 4" (image only)* is 300 dpi {approximately 265kb as a jpg file} as in the example, here all the detail is visible: This is especially important if we are required to crop the centre of the picture for an item like a plate. Any smaller files will lose all the image detail - as you can see from the two cropped close-up pictures. Any pictures below 265kb will result in poor standard reproduction.
